After reading some of the audio section, i THINK there are 2 ways to hook up an aftermarket deck. You can do the amp bypass,, or the amp integration.
I decided to do the amp integration, and all the speakers work fine, and it sounds great with my D1. Doing the integration only added maybe 20 minutes to the install |

I instaled this my self in an LX, it has the regular basic sound system so i didnt run into any factory amp problems.
The antenna is sitting on the dash right under the windshield. the wire is tucked in and runs down the windshield to the right and then is tucked in around the corner at the a piller and then goes under the dash to meet up with the navi unit. its very simply to do. my plans on the car ps have halted for a while but i still want to build one because the d1's functions are no where close to what a car pc could do. |
