For some reason hybrids don't allow you to fold the seats down.
try looking from underneath?

Just did it to my car plus 2 12" insignia subs and it sounds great! Awesome DIY! Also I had the bass speaker upgrade on the 09 EX 4D (with the factory amp in the trunk) and I didn't want to cut those speakers so I just bought 2 original ones from the dealer for 30 bux so 60 bux to replace all 4 cut up speakers to go back to OEM is not something to complain about if you needed to.

do yall think itd be possible to remove the stock sub and replace it with an after market sub? im not looking for loud bass to shake my car but something sounding better and not lose any trunk space. and have the sub hooked up to an amp that could be posted up on the back of the seat.

Sound really good. The only thing is that it rattles, so you have to put some dynomat..
If you want, I can sell you the 8 inch speaker. I used it for 2 weeks since i switched to two 12"

Just to be clear. I want the speaker and it's mounting not just the stock speaker. What I am after is the plastic mounting system that holds the stock speaker to the sheet metal. I.E. everything that is needed to put the speaker in a car without one. Can you post a photo of what you have?

Any chance you could pass on the MTX model #. I'd love to upgrade the sub without losing trunk space. Thanks!
