Thank you very much for sharing it. Those China made OEM speakers are junk. I replaced the entire speakers in my Ody. It sounds a lot better with Alpine speakers. I am planning to replace the Civic speakers Alpine very soon!

Ok guys,
You all have done a great detailed report on removal of the rear deck lid. How was it putting it back on? Any problems of rattling? Thanks in advance.

So it just the reverse as talking it off, and pounding down on the pin areas from the top to get the pins to lock back in place? Any problems with those getting back ito place? Thanks, that was my main concern.

I just installed the two rear speakers last night... The only trouble I had was getting the white clips in place (especially the two corner-end ones at the back) when I was done.

Awesome man, thanks a lot. I've got about 2 G's worth of audio equipment sitting in my room right now awaiting install. I have to wait until spring break when I actually have time to put it in and it's killing me!!!! I'll try to get a detailed write-up with pictures. I'll be adding sound deadening, components f+r w/additional tweets, with 2 JL w6v2's going in the trunk in a custom ported box. I tend to do pretty clean installs so I'll try to get lots of pics after I'm finished as well. Anybody have any advice for me? I've done many installs in other vehicles but I've yet to tear the Si's interior apart. Any tough spots?
