Now, how do you remove the rear seat (in the middle) and those side seat pieces? I want to run the distro box right there and I can't figure out how to remove those flanking seat arms. I will ru along the side sills, but wanted to run my LOC-RCAs adn remote in the center console. However, I can't find a DIY on it. How do you remove the console? |

Once you have all body panel clips unpooped from door frame, pop cover off (No. 22) undo screw (No.32) Once door panel is popped loose lift up on door panel un attacjing it from the window track , now it should dangle by the door latch cable, un clip from cable (No.33) and unclip the wire attached to power window / lock controls. let me know if I need to go into more detail hope this helps.

Yea, #32 and #33 gave me the issue. I finally saw a post that said to push in the center. I did and the other piece fell into the door.
I got everything installed, damn difficult. Running 1/0g is a pain in the ass and I don't recommend it. I will have to mod a few of the door sills to allow room for the wire. Thanks for all the help guys. |

Now, turn the tire all the way to right i think. Remove like 5 of those plastic screw pieces from inside the fender from the front to the rear. This will allow you to stick your hands in there to help feed the cable. Now, what I did was send a snake, or a wire hanger from just behind the battery to the front of the fender. Then taped that to the cable, shove it back into the fender and then pulled thru to the battery. Took 10 minutes, tops. Now, running the 1/0 cable along the doors is a challenge and some mods to the sills may be needed. I have a dremmel and sliced off a few 'feet' to the sills to allow room. I also removed the top flap to the large white cable casing under the sill. Then I ran the wire in that section. Remove the back seat cushion and side piece and ran the wire up the side (mounted my distro block there) and ran into the trunk. Good luck. |

Basically thats how you start the process, then there is two screws inside the arm rest storage under the plastic mat thing, and then there is also two screws just above the shifter on the mount holding in the front. Then theres also clips on the drivers and passenger side at the very front that you just pull out the middle and they slide out then just sit in the back seat and slide it back. Actually a lot easier then i thought it would be |

just another update to this thread.
I was able to run eNetic's 0awg power wire through the existing hole in the firewall in my 06 canadian sedan. I ran the power wire down the sides of the car, but pushed it under the carpet so it wasn't in the sills. At the driver's seat there is a brace that you can run it under so that it won't bulge near the B pillar. Just a heads up. I was able to have it ran front to rear in about 35min or so but I knew what i was doing since I was replacing my 2awg :) |

This thread is obsolete. The newer cars don't have that hole, but the link above shows exactly how to wire power through the fender. In my opinion the above thread should get stickied instead of this outdated one. |
