nice DIY Nomar06, always wanted a better spot for my mp3 player, so might end up doing this.

and if i mess up or want to go back to stock, i can always buy a replacement. it goes for about $40 on majestic honda, here is a link:

product # 2319720

cool.....1 tip. In the cup where the dock goes. Cut the whole a bit lower. My dock ended up "in the air" at the front part. So the ipod wiggles a bit on big bumps.

So if you can get the ipod dock to sit flush on the bottom of the cup, it would be best.

got it all installed, looks great but i used the apple universal dock, only a 30 pin for the charger and the line out jack. I couldn't get it to charge so i pulled it out brought it inside and used the 30 pin to usb cable and poof its charging. So i pull out the wall charger and a ac/dc inverter i had laying around and now it charges but theres some static/feedback through the line. I pulled the ipod off the dock and just plugged in the power and headphone straight to the ipod, still have the static. If i take off the power though the static goes away, so i'm havin issues with the power supply. you just used the standard car charger for the ipod on the dock?

ya it was the inverter. Bought a little usb charger from walmart for like 20 bucks, its small enough that its under my center console. Props to nomar for doin this and i can vouch the fitment is perfect, its nowhere near being in the way of the shifter.

So everything worked out???

I have an Apple dock and a super cheap car charger for the dock. Never got static.

Ya for whatever reason the car charger I had been using wouldn't power through the dock and the inverter I had laying aroung was pretty old and was causing static. Everything seems to work great now though.

what i would recommend to those of you who dont want to modify anything and keep everything stealth is the ipod integration kit which plugs into the back of your radio. you select playlist and songs from your radio, you can allso seek to the next song with your steering controls...since you dont need to use the ipod to select your songs you can run the ipod cable to your glove, or center console....this intigration harness allso charges your ipod. USA-SPEC makes the adaptor
