ROTA from the PI... how much?

im looking to get ROTA SDX soon or in the near future...im wondering how much do they cost in the philippines if im buying them there... On MAY of this year i will be going there for a vacation... i want to compare the price of the rims if i buy it here in the US or in the philippines... if they are about the same then i will go and purchase them here instead of bringing them back here... hope some will led me to an answer... and also im wondering wat kind of other parts i can get there that will fit my FG2...

does the FG2 exist in the phillipines? If not, then you will have trouble finding parts for a car they dont have a market for

dunno about sdx but i had one before that i bought for 30,000 pesos used with tires. but u get the idea. it'll be cheaper to buy there for sure but with all the hassles like packaging it and all the carrying and stuff, you better off buying it here.

ask first cuz sometimes they do crazy things over there like going through customs first then pay outrageous taxes for your goodies. haha i love philippines you know, but sometimes people there get greedy. they will drain your pocket out like a mutha ***** before u even get out of the airport.

from the Philippines here..
it will depend on what size you want..
but afaik, the Rota SDX is only available in 17s.
that should cost you between 18thou to 21thou at the most.

They don't have the K20 in the Philippines. I was there last year and couldn't find much. I did see an RSX-S there though but that was imported and very rare. Rota rims there are dirt cheap. If you can sacrifice the luggage space on the way home then I don't see why it would be a big problem.

What I meant was that the K20 is not an option in any of the cars in OEM style. I have no doubt that swaps have been done there already.

I do know that when I was there last year I had a hard time looking for parts for my car to bring back home. Ended up getting a voltage stabilizer. If they have more parts for the K20 though I'll definately be looking forward to my next trip there.

Rotas here cost between 15-27k brand new (5x114 17 to 18 inch) (USD$370-666) Its much more expensive now since the Peso is rapidly appreciating against the dollar. two years ago, 15-27k would've cost only ($272-490)
