I will be returning back to Kuwait around summer 2008, my fathers business is starting to take off again now that he has a partnership with Al Sayer. Al Kazmi stole big money from him in 2004, over 1 million US. I will be bringing my Si Sedan.

I was little bit suprised to find out that the 1.6L LXi comes with only 2 speakers in the front door!
I had to buy the 2 in the back in addition to the tweeters in the dashboard!
oh...and the CD player plays only wav files. No mp3s nor wma!

What about your 1.8L cars guys?

Just came back from a visit to KSA, where I have visited Honda dealership.
The 1.8 VTI is so cool!
Also the 1.8 EX comes with leather steering wheel, audio control switch and trunk lid interior lining kit. All of which are missing from the 1.6L

I bought the audio control switch from them (which was reasonably priced !), just haven't had the heart to take off the dash yet!
Although, I did take the steering wheel apart once before, when I have tried to install the audio controls of a USDM LX sedan, which of course did not fit !

I also installed the full trunk lid interior lining kit, now the trunk looks much neater than before!

So...List of completed mods so far:
-Color coded exterior door handles
-trunk lid interior lining kit (USA)
-Fog lights (UAE)
-16" OEM alloys (UAE)
-Side sill garnish (UAE)
-Silver coded handbrake and shift knob garnish (USA)
-Accord cargo hook (USA)
-Honda OEM first aid kit (USA)
-Honda OEM pioneer tweeter speakers (USA)
-Color coded side-door guards (USA)

Mods in progress:
-OEM steering wheels audio controls (KSA)
-OEM Exhaust pipe finisher (UAE)
-OEM Engine cover (garnish) (Japan)

I will post pics as soon as the car is back from the detail shop, as it being polished and waxed, which will probably be on Tuesday. Although, I prefer posting the pics after I have the audio controls installed on Friday isA.

The waiting list for this car is long! I have waited 3 months for mine.
Took delivery of it in Sep 07 and one month later the 08 model was available !!!
I raised hell at dealer's HQ!

I live in Giza, Sheikh Zayed city.

Just under 6K km and I have a major problem with my car; the whole steering mechanism (rack, tie rod and steering arm) is going to be replaced under warranty!!
This is very alarming, as expecteed life time of these parts is usually longer than that!
Anyone with similar problem?
