Jerky transmission/heavy steering
You got that right! I own a 1.8S A/T for 3 mos already and I share the same observation. The heavy steering is probably due to larger wheels (am not sure if the 1.8V feels the same) and smaller steering wheel. I've read some comments regarding the transmission and I think that's how it was designed. But all in all, I have no qualms in owning the new Civic. I just hope I wont be having major problems...

hi guys
im Parm, Indian working and living in Dubai.
hi and hello to all. i bought the base model of civic 2006, Lxi, so that i can make changes as per my taste. also since all the three models have same engine unlike previous civic, my Lxi has the same engine, so i all im doing is adding stuff as per my choice. safe driving to all
