DIY: TW Painting & Install Eye Lids

Super Easy DIY for painting and Installation of my TW eye lids

First I got all the stuff together I will use...........5oz TW paint, 200 grit sand paper, Clear Coat, Double sided tape and some brake clean. You can use what ever you think will work best but this is the stuff I used with no problems.

First I just did a really quick sand and clean to get the paint to stick alittle better, then I did the first light spray. After letting it dry alittle untill it got tacky so the next coat will stick better, I applied about 7 more light coats with little breaks to let the paint dry between coats.

This pic shows how it looks after the last coat.

After letting it dry all the way I sprayed the clear coat on, I did 5 coats with little breaks between coats to let it dry so the next coat will stick better. Here is how the looked when done.

After letting them dry for a few hrs I cut up and applied the double sided tap. I did a couple of test fits before I pulled the back of the tap of to stick it on.

Last pic here shows them on the car, total time was 4 hrs with dry time.

They turned out really good and I really like the way it looks, Thanks for looking and any questions just ask

From a online store called autobarn.com they only come in 5oz cans, I could not find them in bigger cans that were the TW color.

of it on at night!

Also does it block out light output?? Or does it reduce the glare if we have HIDs?
