Umm... do you know what the dragon is? Its part of a State Park in North Carolina...

Here is their website:
Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway, Graham Co, NC

And here's what it looks like - you can make out the dragon + tail in the pic:

If you want to have a huge multi city meet in Banff that's one thing, but hehe you won't get far calling it a dragon meet

Edit, some Canadians have gone to the meet.

If you want an Alberta meet, then get one together. It's been a rewarding experience for me to organize the Dragon meet. It's all worth it when the meet comes off with relatively few hitches and you get to meet a lot of great people who really enjoy themselves.

I did a little research and Red Deer is about halfway between Edmonton and Calgary so that might be a good place to have it.

Agreed. It was so much fun organizing the second Whistler meet here in Vancouver. I've got lots of things lined up for Whistler3.

The drive to Whistler from Vancouver is such a let down with all the traffic and roadworks. If you want a dragon-esque route in that neck of the woods then it has to be the Duffy Lake Road :-)

A Red Deer meet would be sweet... I discussed this last summer at a car show with a bunch of guys from edmonton that came down. Lets do it when it warms up.

I had brought this idea up with some Edmonton members...
if there are Calgary members interested, we can meet in Red Deer...
