Hmmmmm, I personally would get another SI, but if you don't want that I would say WRX just because it's the best all around Canada car. 4 doors, fast, useful. Or even a csx type S.

Yeah the 2009 WRX caught my eye. i like the sedan more than the hatch though. i dunno, i haven't really checked out dealer pricing since they arrived. i thought they were in the 35k range?

it's a shame, i love driving my Si. i suppose i could get another one but then i feel i would be beating myself for not changing it up. the new cobalt ss is actually very tempting - front brembos, crazy 'ring time. i've just never owned a chevy so im a bit wary.

edit: damn hoanger, do you have a trust fund or just endless credit? you always have the sickest wheels!

Yeah.. around 35k for the WRX265.
35k for a car that's faster than the STI on paper has got my money.
The sedan rear is nice, but the front works better on the hatch.

Doesn't the SS even have Recaros? Most reviews, surprisingly, have ranked the new SS pretty high. It's one of the best handling cars from the factory, even compared to the Si.

i know the first year of the outgoing s/c SS had recaros, the t/c that my co-worker has doesn't though. the no-lift shift and launch control, combined with the lsd option are pretty sweet though. dunno how i feel about the yucky interior.

i would consider the wrx hatch if i could get some kind of red overlay (i wonder if blue batmobile makes them) for the tails, that altezza-ness doesn't do the rear any favors. now that you mention it, i think i'll go creep on some other forums. i bet with a cobb accessport and some bolt ons it will push way over 300hp!

There is a red overlay. Two people I know have it on their white WRX's.
You can order it somewhere.. a few guys on beyond even have it.

The only thing that would stop me from getting the SS is that it's a chevy. No matter how great it is, your going to run into big problems down the road.

It was just Demo and I there. no pics, too windy. But Demo's car is looking nice after the body shop fixed it.

I keep going back and forth on hatch or sedan better.
But yeah cobb is awsome! Cheap power. I think its like 100 hp for like 1300 bucks.
