Where in Germany are you? Since you are in the millitary I don't think the TUV would apply to you but I bet with any aftermarket exhaust you may get the attention of the local Polizei
Highway cruising is quite pleasant.
I don't think there is much of any drone. You can still hear yourself talk and carry a conversation. Now I don't usually cruise at 120mph like you probably can on the Autobahn so the noise level may go up a bit at higher speeds.
At 75-80 mph it sounds great.
Personally if you are in Germany I would go with a quieter exhaust like the Greddy SP2 or the APEXI WS2. Both sitll sound pretty good but are a lot quieter than the Vibrant Exhaust. Even with your military plate you may still get a ticket for noise polution. And they take that stuff pretty serious over there.
