You should pretty much take all that knowledge about the mustang, and throw it out the window in terms of mods for your civic. They dont just make a chip that goes for your civic that gives all kinds of power. There are companies that make programmable ECU's...Hondata being one of them. The problem with this is...it isnt available for the 8th generation civic yet.
This shift kit that you are talking about...you mean a torque converter? Or something that actually goes into the transmission that makes the auto tranny shift faster? Either way...no, nothing like that for a Honda. I think they made a torque converter for the 7th gen civic way back in the day, but no one really used it because of the extensive work that needed to go into installing it.
