When you turn on the headlights with the switch, you then toggle between Low- and High-Beam settings. AFAIK, the DRLs have a separate fuse and by removing it you can eliminate the DRLs being "On" entirely.

So if you have H.I.Ds as your high beam, then your DRL will run using the H.I.Ds? or will the relay trigger it not to turn on?
