Leafblower?!?!? are you kidding? you think a leafblower has anything there to stop it from firing particles at your paint?

why not just sandblast your clearcoat.
As long as you are using a blower that doesn't have a suck option (or has never been used to suck) it shouldn't be a problem. I bought a little cheap ass Toro blower ($29.99) and it works great. There is nothing in there to shoot at your car. The only threat would be debris on the ground getting kicked up...
