bringing back an almost dead thread but I may want to try this out because I have my pioneer hu hooked up the normal way and I am experiencing a lot of white noise.

Does this method get rid of that noise? Or does it not help all that much?

If I'm not using this method, is my stock amp (EX) not being used.
