That all depends on the cfm. THats what it comes down to basically.
"It’s not about psi it’s about cfm (cubic feet per min.) I was to blow 100,000 cubic feet of air through a drinking straw in 1 min. The air would have to compress creating high psi. But if I were to blow 100,000 cubic feet of air in 1 min. through a length of air conditioning duct that air would not compress nearly as much as it did through the straw but the same amount of air was delivered in the same amount of time. That’s why psi of boost doesn’t matter and why car "A" running 10psi might be slower than car "B" running 5psi."
