Yes 2k is a lot for a TV but prices have come down considerably.
The picture quality with a good HD feed can be breath taking. Discovery HD theatre really shows it off.
I only wish it had more than 2 HDMI inputs 4 would of been killer. Also the piano black finish though sharp looking (pun intended) is a dust magnet so get a Swiffer duster and keep it near by..
