suggestion for a new rule.

we do this all the time in the photo section. but i think it needs to be implemented everywhere, and enforced.

when you quote pictures, take out the IMG tags so it just shows the links. like this

I think mods clean it out of they see it - report the post and we can remove them

Thats actually a great idea. There is nothing worse than scrolling through posts where people quote like 10 pics in it.

Since I'm using the 40-post limit per page, if someone posts an image 10 posts up, I generally will quote the image if it's small enough. Most times though, just delete the image tags, it's more forum friendly. Lord knows that the site, with all the traffic, can seem slow at times -- let's not exacerbate the problem by putting more URLs.

I agree though. This would be a great way to cut down on wasted space. I also use 40 posts per page, so seeing the same shit quoted ten times in a row is kind of annoying. Aren't there any scripts or options for this in the BBCode?
