Thumbs down problem with ortivt6

ortivt6 was recently in the need of some help on the forum so i took it upon myself to help him and give him directions for his suspension setup.

After this happened he had posted in the for sale section that he had skunk 2 camber arms for sale so i immediately pmed him and sent payment within 30 minutes of his post i was siked about it. he informed me he wasn't going to send out the arms till he received payment into his account (reasonable and i agreed) we sent pms back and fourth with updates and such.

This morning i pmed him and asked him if payment cleared he responded with oh no it should tonight you are on the west coast i am on the east coast. Not a big deal so i wait patiently then all of a sudden he sends me a message saying i canceled payment today?? what the hell??? if i was going to cancel a payment why would i wait TILL THE DAY IT CLEARS??? that doesn't make sense then i see in the FL forum some one local to him buys them from him for more money then he orginally offered. He then claims that i cancled payment instead of contacting me he MAGICALLY has payment from someone else and ALREADY has them shipped to him! THEN HE HAS THE AUDACITY to leave ME negative feedback saying that i canceled payment and was impatient. When this morning and the whole time i have agreed for him to not send the arms out until payment clears? Seriously i don't feel i should have negative feedback on my name what so ever if i was going to cancel a payment i wouldn't do it after 3 business days plus a weekend of waiting......

i realize i can not get the arms from him because he already sold them to someone who i believe offered him more money so he no longer wanted to do a sale with me (since he didn't even pm me to ask me what the deal was and RESOLVE the situation) however i feel i should not have negative feedback especially if it was just a paypal ERROR and he could have just asked me

I removed the negative itrader feedback for you.

I'm sorry but that's about all that I can do for you, as he's already sold them to someone else.

i honestly hope for his sake that this is just a big misunderstanding but i only know my side of the story and how it looks TO ME. I really hope that he just overreacted and i would gladly retract my negative feedback to him as well offer an apology for this post but i just wanted to let ppl know i wasn't a bad buyer or seller here. I just bought a fujita from someone here and got great feedback as well as bought from two vendors here. I really just hope it was a misunderstanding he seemed like a real straight forward guy and i see that he had a very positive feedback rating prior to my one bad ding.
And like i said i would be more than happy to remove my feedback (or ask an admin) if there is explanation

Did you pay with paypal? I tought paypal cleared the same day. To me it sounds like he got a better offer aswell as yours and was waiting for the other person to pay. You were his rebound guy if the local guy didnt get them.

does the money show not clearing on your end in paypal? I'm guessing you sent an echeck? That does take 3-4 days to transfer.

Is the money still showing in your paypal acct?

I have never mess up a sale from 8thcivic.com... all my buyers have always been 100% satisfied...

Sincerely,
PayPal
Should have contacted him instead of just shooting him a negative feedback because of an error he had no control over. I'm sure he was just as suprised as you were to see that it didn't clear. PayPal cancelled it, not him. Communication, Anthony. Just my .02
