SCTuned has fallen off...

Update:

SCTuned got back to me and it seems it was more or less a misunderstanding and some miscommunication. They shipped my product and everything is kosher. (Unless I get my header and it has a hole drilled in it. ;p) Carlos made good by getting back to me today and unfortunately... the East Coast / West Coast time difference didn't help matters at all. That being said... I never intended this thread to be a Shop vs Shop thread. I was only looking to see if others were having similar issues. Fortunately... not as many as I expected.

Shit happens from time to time and coupled with some short patience, fixed garage times, and some slow emails can make a sticky situation. My apologies if it got out of hand at all. That being said, I can't wait to get my header today. Thanks gain.

I placed an order for a Vibrant RH w/ HFC last week and they sent me an email saying it would ship yesterday or today. Well... today comes and they completely avoid the tracking # questions in my emails though they are quick to reply to a inquiry about purchasing additional parts. Tho my header didnt ship yesterday, I would have to pay $30 in overnight shipping for the gasket and bolts. Couldn't these be packaged with the header that was suppose to go out the day before???

Really poor customer service in my opinion. Time to call the credit card company and get my money back.

lol i paid to overnight a gasket and 7 days later i never got anything.. had to file a dispute with paypal before i was refunded. that was 3 months ago while they were still a sponsor..

months ago i ordered a progress RSB NIB, that i swear was used with a new pack of hardware. i didnt even get si instructions and the r18 instructions were all wrinkled.

anyway it was just a sway bar so i didnt say anything, but yeah i wasnt too happy.

Considering that I sent him multiple emails... he replied to only the ones where I ask about purchasing additional hardware... IE:

Well that's just sad, SCTuned always seemed like a good vendor. He was always quick to help people out with questions, post vids and dynos and whatnot, etc. Seemed more attentive than most vendors on here.

I mean... if someone is telling me my header will be here tomorrow... and they are on the east coast... surely they have a tracking # at this point.

I filed my dispute...

At first you said they said it would ship today, then you said they said the header will be there tomorrow .. ?

I only said give it some time, shipping a box that size doesn't happen instantly. If it shipped today then you should have it by the end of the week if you're lucky.

filing a dispute is a bit premature imo at the stage

Maybe Cor can hook a brother up until I get my refund. My bank says the 30th... but I wanted to install my header tomorrow afternoon or Friday morn... Now my plans are all fubard and I have my exhaust sitting in the garage...
