Another reason not to trust people!
Well, I guess I was a fool for trusting a member here. I sent this guy a muffler and he never paid for it. It's not about the money, I wouldn't have taken the risk if it was. Bummer for others though as I will have to have cash in hand first now. This guy has made me realize I will have to treat the members here like I'm dealing with some one on Craig's list. I paid the shipping to send him my muffler, so I got mud on my face. I'm posting this just to let others know not to trust this guy. I know some of you will say that's what you get for trusting, save it please! Webby if you read this perhaps we can ban this guy? Here is a complete copy of the correspondence; You will need to jump to the bottome and work your way back up.

dang that sucks dude, next time at least when your selling something they gotta have a paypal to pay dont trust if they say ill send you a check...... local meet up or paypal is the way to go buddy

Points taken guys. Ya I jinxed myself, yes I was crazy and I did message a moderator. The thread will probably be closed but as long as it stays clean it gives him a chance to respond. He did say he was going to Japan so it is possible that he didn't intend to bend me over. If in fact his story is fabricated at least this post should prevent any one from further transactions with him until this is resolved. I did not intended for this post to come off as me being scornful and bashing. Rather, I mean it only as an example of why it's better to be cautious.

Ya the 25 hr shift is for real. I work for the public utility here in CA PG&E. The longest shift that I worked so far is 37hrs (only stopped once to eat). There is a lot of O.T. if you want it. I worked Sat and Sun last week and I'm working tomorrow (Sun.) also. I don't like to work that much (I got kids and need to be home too) but I had some bills to pay. They can't make you stay that long, you are right, all I have to do is say I'm too tired to work safely. The hardest part about those shifts is the drive home! Logic? what's that?
