well this thread took a number of interesting turns. At the end of the day I am glad the thread is now a sticky. I have heard all that I need to hear about the way cusotmer service operates there.

HighRev no need to justify yourself....you are not the one with an angry following, and countless pissed off customers. I understand the need to defend yourself and company though, and I applaud you for that(for what it's worth).

I remember when EVERYONE wanted the AJP kit. Then they started slipping.......

There's no conspiracy, everyone wanted that kit to be the savior. Reality is reality my man.

maybe others would like to read what you accused others of.... where I have no proof of anything regarding this.

And yet people are so in love with them. Why? Because they are "cool." Sure thing. That is just one example. But all the crap that happened with AJP is a thing of the past and all the stories that were posted here trying to tear them apart...were all one sided. Nobody ever got AJP's side of the stories because AJP doesn't feel the need to argue over the internet and attempt to gain the acceptance of one website. I'm not speaking for them, just assuming based on previous conversations. They never badmouthed another company, like Redshift did with AJP. And they produced amazing results with their products. If some amateur couldn't install the kit, or some off the wall side of the road shop couldn't do it...is that AJP's fault? No. There have been quite a few self-installs that were successful as well.

Also, everyone is in on pins and needles waiting for Redshift's s/c to come out...but what they don't know is that Redshift blew a motor up 13 minutes after installing a supercharger that they designed on a FG2. It was last year. It was HART's (Honda of America Racing Team) FG2 that was supposed to compete in the Lap of America race. But do I dare mention that publicly? Oh no...I'd be crucified. There are a lot of easily impressionable kids that troll around here and follow the people with the most rep. Sad really.

Blueroadster...great guy. Really he is. But the problem with his manifold that AJP made...what that he tightened it down wrong. Despite what Toni and Ron told him to do...he did what he wanted and ended up with a warped manifold. But AJP was trashed for that. Toni made every manifold by hand and never had a problem. They are amazing.

I'm considered an AJP fanboy because I still have the kit and still talk about them in a positive light. They had some problems in their shop in the past. But those have been ironed out and they have new help that has done wonders for the shop. They have one guy that is devoted to customer service and maintaining anything web related. The store, eBay sales, etc.

They've made mistakes along the way, but so has everyone. They just had members of this place trolling around the shop all the time to put out the bad info they heard or saw. Also...you know Toni and Ben? Well Toni may be an awesome tuner/welder/fabricator. But he is also a felon, convicted of running a chop shop and grand theft auto. Ben was involved and charged with the same. This was discovered after they left AJP. They apparently did a little jail time, got out and were hooked up with jobs at AJP. AJP made the mistake of not checking the backgrounds of either and when the times got tough at the shop, they both picked up their shit and left. Toni is black listed on Honda-tech for screwing people out of parts or money that he promised. I have all this stuff documented at home, but not readily available b/c I'm at work. Toni is a great guy...just not one to be trusted completely.

I know there are plenty of other examples or instances that I have, but can't think of right now. So basically I'm sick of the way some of the members run around as a pack of wolves and attack anything to do with AJP. Yet praise anything to do with Redshift, who has done nothing for us in terms of aftermarket parts. Knowledgeable? Sure...but so is AJP. They just don't feel the need to have a cult-like following on the internet. They still have a steady stream of turbo kit requests and inquiries flowing in and out of the shop. They still do R&D on their Si...we just don't hear about it because anything to do with AJP is negative. I've been labeled as an outcast for speaking my mind and not following the AJP hate wagon. Doesn't bother me at all. I consider myself an individual, not a groupie. Thanks for listening and like I said...there is more, I just can't think of everything right now. Take it easy.

Let's try to stay on track with ajp being the topic. X isn't even in the same category in anything other than it being a bandwagon product. He had great customer service for a long time till he left. You said he had good service yourself. So, let's leave it at that for this thread.

Yeah, it was JR. But you guys were looked towards from HART. You guys didn't succeed. My point is that you guys trip and fall, just like others. But you seem to feel it's ok to talk shit about other companies. Like when you claimed that the manifold from AJP looked like crap welded to metal. You guys have taken the childish stand towards AJP and chose to talk crap about them as well. Being someone who is looked up to by many members here, why don't you hold yourself to a higher standard and not stoop to that level.

Good for you King Webby. Not impressed. That's something I'd expect from some of the kids around here.

What I'm trying to say is - there is a ton of stuff that I don't want to even go into... because I don't want it spread. It's pointless - I don't want to deal with it. I've got so many other issues to deal with besides thinking of them. Just as you don't feel the need to post up things about other companies. I think every person on here could rip someone a new one. We all have our own experiences.
So you're saying that there are issues that members should possibly know about, but you don't want to deal with it? But you would rather concentrate your attacks on AJP specifically. That's good

So back to the customer service issue. Who's had on or heard of one in the past...3-4 months? I'm being serious. I haven't heard anything negative about them in a while. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

can you see into the staff area? Can you see stories written about alljap there? No. Old threads of theirs have also been removed from the boards.... ie - you don't know everything. I guess you couldn't follow

if you buy a tv commercial - you pay for that commercial to be aired.... say the superbowl. You get that ad run on that day- which you paid for. Do you think the ad will be displayed that following superbowl as well? How about a billboard,... radio ad... etc? Their forum was removed - ie, posts gone

That's not even close to the same ball park. Stop comparing apples to oranges. HART is not the everyman that buys from AJP and doesn't receive parts or bad customer service. Whenever you ask redshift a question, they answer it! When you try to contact them, they reply! Redshift doesn't get on here with oddball accounts and talk themselves up. Redshift is in a whole different league with customer service. Customer service is the issue after all. So all the fallacies in your redshift bashing should stop. Talk about ajp and their problems. If you have a problem with Redshift, contact them directly.

Do you have a problem with redshift? Have you seen any redshift bashing threads? At what times have you tried to contact them and couldn't?

Have you noticed that no one has come to bat with you? There's a really good reason for that. They were removed as sponsor meaning 8thcivic lost money by removing them. Why would they do that without good reason?
