What false testimony are you referring to? I haven't seen one yet.

guess you werent around when they made another user id and claimed to be from CT or something and gave praise to their company but after some researching it was found out through their ip addresses it was coming from a computer often used by ajp.

Do you know how many calls/pm's/emails webby has made to AJP/ben10 to try and get issues resolved with members who had issues with their product? Countless. COUNTLESS!! Most, if not all went unanswered. Ben10 would see the threads members would make asking for help. Guess what? No response from him. This went on for months.

So, if I could, I would put fireworks around that sticky to warn members about their extremely poor service.

What they have done is inexcusable.

Ben wasn't their rep. He handled the phone and some work around the shop. But lacked when it came to putting out fires or answering people who put him under the spot light. He's been gone for a long time. Practically the entire crew that was there during all the problems, is gone now.

I'd say you'll see in due time, but if the name 'AJP' show up anywhere, every member who is active is in that thread watching and commenting on something that they really know nothing about.

In Jeshua's case, it wasn't supposed to happen at all. He wasn't supposed to be the test car for that kit. Ron wanted someone local, and Doug at Hondata wanted someone in Cali so he didn't have to fly out to AJP. Jeshua backed out about a week before he was supposed to go have Hondata tune the car. He apparently expected perfection and wasn't prepared for the pain of being a prototype car. Marvie has explained numerous times what he had to go through and he was local. It's not some overnight process. And with them being short handed at that time, it didn't help.

They could sit on this website all day and explain this and that or defend themselves til they are blue in the face, but it really wouldn't matter would it? 90% of the people that bitch about them, haven't even given them a call to talk with them. They've probably never even been to the website. They just assume that AJP is garbage, because it has been posted up on this site.

Some people need to learn to think for themselves. Do you own research and build an opinion based off first hand experience or speaking to the source.

Guess you don't know the truth behind that. That person..."snowbird," does live in CT and his name is Tim. He was at AJP getting work done on his car, using the shop computer to post here and also the computer at his hotel. This can be proven. But nobody wants to hear it.

That had a rough time around the shop for a little while and the customers suffered. There's no doubt about that. But false accusations and full blow hate threads dedicated to them is childish and unfair.

There are other people that have yet to show anything for all the "hard work" they've put into certain aftermarket parts. But everyone is willing to be patient with them. *shrug*...

If I come off as a dick with any of this, don't take too much offense to it. I don't like to beat around the bush or sugar coat anything. Guess I just tend to be hostile at times.

All the stuff you said sounds legit and accurate. So, if it's true, then why shouldn't they get on here and defend themselves. I know I would if it meant me making more money and ruining my reputation. They should get on here. If they have fixed their customer service issues as you're claiming they have new people, maybe they would be able to run a good business now.

Because it would take someone days upon days of answering questions and wearing the flame suit. They might not have the time. They are busy around the shop all the time.

These are assumptions. I can't say for sure. There are a lot of new things going on in that place.

... if he lives in CT and was in FL at the shop. Why would he write this sentence?

And after reading some other posts by this 'snowbird' user... if his word is anything like his spelling and/or grammar (read: the way he presents himself on the forum)... then I feel sorry for those who believe him.

If he is truly from CT and AJP can prove this. Have AJP contact him and tell him to come to Victor Research on March 8th and dyno his Si w/ the AJP kit on it. Heres the info for the dyno meet:

Dyno meet at victor research in east hartford , Ct

If this guy really loves AJP and wants things to be 'fixed' for them on this site... he should be more than willing to accommodate this request.

I think a lot of new members that come here with questions or just to show off their AJP kit or whatever...are pushed away because of the responses. It's not "Hey nice numbers, good luck with the kit," or something along those lines. It's more like "Ooooh, you'll be lucky to last a month. Sucks to be you, blah blah blah."

Tends to be discouraging for new members.

His english is pretty bad and his wife does most of the talking for him, but at any rate, why would he want to boost their name? I don't know if he bought the with the intention of installing it himself and just decided to take it to them, or if his english is just that bad. No idea. Hell, he might not have been getting the turbo kit installed while he was down there. Could've just been checking out the shop and getting to know the guys before he was going to go through with that sort of modification. I don't know all the little details, just that he's a real person. Not AJP.

Maybe that's why the mods made the ajp stuff a sticky, so that they could make up their own mind off of what happened before. New guys are supposed to check out the stickies.

This is not a campaign to praise AJP, it an attempt to clear up some false accusations.

yeah, we see how the new guys and hell, even the regulars check out the stickies. Take a look at the heap we call the bolt-on forum...every other day is another damn "which intake is better" thread. My eyes burn when i take a peek in that place.
