Hey also another way to prevent the abuse is to take away being able to see who gave you rep.
When i was apart of animesuki thats how they did it you couldnt see who gave you what but you could read their messages.

i still stand by my idea. people were abusing it cause of the point system right? and those who like the rep system mainly like it for the recognition right? why not just take away the point system and just keep it to rep comments in your user cp?

Rep points should be able to be view by the public. So everyone will know if its fraud or not!

I don't see what the big deal is. This is a website dedicated to the wonderfull Honda Civic. People will still be able to tell who is a helpful member by reading their helpful posts, not by staring at a bunch of colored lines. Are people really here to earn a "reputation"? Anyone who is informative and helpful should be respected, not just those with massive amounts of posts who have little to say and just

to everything. It's really sad how much people are concerned with a reputation in an online forum!!!

lol. i thought that you can whore in vip when the thread was in there. if you had a problem with that you should of done what 2fast did(the correct thing) and moved it to the correct place. that way not just vip will post there view and everyone has a chance to see it. that way they dont make threads about it every hour and have them locked.

anyhow providing rep without being able to see the comment or user who gave it would work too. And also if people do put their names in the rep it'd be that much easier to see who was actually abusing the rep system. so ah ha!
