I hope we don't get merged with the other sites. I like our identity.

Is it every 4 years or 5 years when Honda comes out with the new design a.k.a. 9th gen.

^ Something like that. Could be anywhere from 4 to 6 years, with a mid-generation refresh every 2 to 3 years.

The 2009 model is supposed to have some sort of exterior refresh.

There's a button labeled "Insta-Ban Member Now" right next to your name.

About to purchase an EX tomorrow. I do see the refresh is similar to the European and Japanese versions of the car via the headlights and tails....but there still may be a year or so left of the 8th from what I see and hear here.

I'm not a trade in for the new type guy and really only buying the car for a daily driver because of owning a track/race car already, but it will be interesting to see what Honda uses to power the new 9th gen. We will just have to wait and see.

I have a feeling as soon as the 9th Gen Civics are released, Webby will open 9thCivic.com for posting and all things 8th Gen related (including this site and all our cars) will spontaneously combust. We will all be forced to buy 9th Gen Civics in order to cope.
