Excuse my frustration but WTF?? ATTN: MODS

Moderators keep locking my damn thread saying my posts are not acceptable? I posted about the top speed of my car being reached whild driving on a legitimate Strip that is owned by uncle and open for drivers wanting to test their cars and such. No its not a drag strip and it doesn't print slips. This is because it is not setup for drags, yet. Its open for top speed runs so why the hell are my threads being locked????

I'm thinking because even though its owned by your uncle. Its not an official sanctioned event thats controlled by officials.

Just my guess.... I'm sure one of the mods will chime in the specifics.

no kidding lol, Don't get me wrong, a lot of Mods on this site are cool as can be and keep this site clean from filth, but there seem to be a few who get happy with the power to lock threads unjustly.... just my .02

With the amount of different IPs I use, id like to see them try. Im not bashing the Mods at all. Like I said they do a great job maintaining this site. But damn people cut me some slack, its not like I posted vids of street racing n $hit

the bold parts kinda contradict one another.

the problem is that a "legitamate strip" is run by officials with certain guidlines, such as wearing a helmet and these are strictly enforced. by you saying that cops come by and "test" their vehicles, jsut goes to show that anyone can go on this strip and test their cars...so technically it is open to the public and no rules are set....making it just as bad as speeding on a highway.

now..if i could only find the thread from a few days ago that was about the BMW that drove off the end of a private airstip when doing 100mph+...and killed 5 people. tell me that would have heppened if it was a legal dragstrip....i dont think so.

i feel the mods are correct for locking your threads.

(Helmets required at all times and any vehicle pushing 150mph is required to have a roll cage). There is a fire dept. w/paramedics next door who send over volunteer staff that watch the strip during operating hours. Cops come out because they get bored and know my uncle personally. I wasnt trying to contradict myself, but merely elaborating on the issue. Its not like its a free for all airfield or else i would not contend the Mods on this.

Its STILL not a 'sanctioned' drag strip. Regardless of your uncles intentions. Until its 100% official, it is just as bad as street racing.
