Constant Refresh?

I've going through the forums on this site and have noticed that I constantly need to refresh the page to see new posts. Even if I'm hitting a link that told me there are new posts in a certain forum.. sometimes I still need to hit refresh just to see posts i've seen before.
Basically when I click a link to a page it doesn't update it automatically for me. I have to hit refresh everytime. Is there a setting for this? Does anyone else experience this problem? Am I an idiot? Someone? Anyone?

Hmmmm...if you click the back button, then no, it won't refresh. But if you click into a forum, or click back to the main forum page, then it should indicate new posts...

Nope. I never click back. I always use links and "clicking into a forum". and it still doesn't show the new posts. I always have to refresh.

Have you tried any other forum sites to see if you have the same issue? It could be browser related...

Then again, maybe it is this site (I only browse this site via the find new posts button). If so, however, it'd be the first forum site I've ever run across with that particual setting.
