But it is true, Rep was mostly just for laughs at this point. If it gets taken away, then it's no real big deal. Just keep posting, and helping members (or for the VIP) just keep spamming the Delete Area. It's one small aspect of a very large site that can be enjoyed by all.

The meaninglessness of it plus the headaches we had in the past with negative reps plus the excessive and constant abuse of it are why it's again gone. At this point, it would seem rational that any person who saw or felt that there was a valid reason to keep the rep system should express it. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure that 8thcivic will do just fine without it.
