its not like this was a scam to ripoff AJP. The bank or whoever issued the money order has to have the money upfront. aka the 14,000. If the issuer doesnt get the 14,000 upfront, they dont issue the money order to AJP. Dont say well he coulda written a check and it coulda bounced because they WAIT till the check clears.

So why are people posting like Tee already has the turbo kit and has no intention of paying?

And as for the springs, come the hell on. Would he even make a stupid profit scamming you ONE spring? What the hell is he going to do with ONE spring?

Just the fact that Skittles said this:

No one on this forum is trying to stick it to anyone. I'm sure Skittles has his reasons for not coming through, but apparently, he's decided to keep them to himself.

Skittles has been more than helpful to numerous members around here and we're definitely grateful for all that he has contributed to this forum. I'm sure we would welcome him back here with open arms if he would just come through with proof of his claimed transactions and to settle the problems once and for all.

We really didn't want to put all this out in the open, because quite frankly, it's nobody else's business, but with the many threads popping up asking about Skittles, it was deemed necessary to air it out.

I sure as hell miss the guy with his insight and knowledge on our cars. We're just waiting for him to prove he's not at fault.

Well, I only made i through the first 15 conversations before I was throroughly confused. Seems to me though that much of this could have been avoided if the transaction(s) were settled between the 2 parties without getting Webby involved. We're all grown adults here and should know how to handle these types of things without someone to run interference for us. Now Webby has been forced into the middle of a situation that he/she didn't need to be.

It's just my .02, but now that the word is out there, most regular members aroudn here probably have gotten word about this...I find it kind of demeaning to keep this thread open for too long...I don't want it to start festering into a "Let's trash/hate on Skittles."

Like 8th said above, he contributed a lot to this forum, and beating a dead horse longer than it needs to be isn't necessary.

So for those who are thinking about posting questionably offensive replies, please think twice before hitting Submit, remembering that even if he is at fault, he's still a person and he was still a very respected member of this board for a long time.

Well, the problem was that initially, the "member" did try to settle it with Skittles. It was until the "member" got fed up with Skittles' run-arounds that he pointed it out to Webby.

Since both are members of this site, Webby wanted to make sure this wasn't a big misunderstanding. It really blew up into something more than it should have, and it would have been resolved if the stories just added up.

Skittles claimed he ordered a kit from AJP and sent two money orders as payment. He also claimed he never received the parts.
However, staff at AJP never received an order placed by Skittles (aka Montee' Stowes), or by anyone from Stowe.

But it also could have been resolved without Webby getting involved. I understand Webby's in a Catch-22 here, either way there's going to be one less member on this forum (either out of banishment or frustration), but as I said before, we're all adults here and this could have been handled without getting Webby involved.

Understand that I am in no way taking sides for either one. I would just hate to see future "misunderstandings" between members take up all of Webby's time. His/her time could be better spent making this the great forum that it is than playing Judge Judy.

I respectfully disagee. "Member" sent countless emails to skittles, called the post office, etc. It seems to me he turned to the only person he could to try alleviate this situation.

In other words, they tried to work it out like adults, but after that failed "member" turned to Webby.

Oh hell, lets lock this

Webby is the owner of this site and once "member" approached him with this problem, he had to be involved. "Member" was in a deadlock with Skittleslegend, hence Webby's role as mediator.

Unfortunately, not many people share your sentiments. I, for example, was holding on to hope that this would turn out to be a misunderstanding. Let's not forget, Skittleslegend is a treasure-trove of information (no one can deny that). Yes, he may have been rough around the edges, but who isn't. I will definitely miss him as a contributor and a friend, but I fully support the decision to remove him, given the circumstances outlined on this thread.

It's not going to happen, he still has email, and a phone.

I'm sorry but some of you just need to give up and ACCEPT that Skittles was not who he seemed to be.

The internet is a big place my friend. He can post it on countless Civic forums and the information will relay itself back here pretty fast.
