Theres gotta be a chat room

I've been on a forum in the past that had a very active chat room. It was one of the BEST features of the forum. I think 8th civic should have one also. It would be great. Another great feature it should have is a counter showing how many current people are actually in the room. I think it would really add to the site if people really start using it.

OKay i found it.

It should be a big button at the top. And i think more users would join if you could just click right into tit, without having to download stuff. Just my opinion

Like how it says "message boards" at the top it should say "chat" next to it , with a user count visible.

Yeah, I posted a message exactly like this when I first joined, and from what I remember, it was created shortly after that.

I have no idea how to get it to work though

Well we have an 8thCivic chatroom on AIM .

Click once on your s/n in your buddy list then press ALT+C, then type
"chat 8thcivic" and voila! You'll enter our room that usually only has 1 person in it as of late, lol. We need more people!

Yeeaaahhhh there is definitely only 1 person in there...we need to find a way to get SOME chat going, whether it's AIM, Yahoo, or whatever else.

Where is it? Is it different than the AIM chat?

I can't find the forum's chat function. Is this "big button" just staring me right in the face and I can't see it or what?

I don't think there is a big button...I think he was saying there SHOULD be a big button so it's more user-friendly.

Is there even a button or a link to a Forum-chat program at all then?
