How about a monthly Raffle Off?

Yea ive been thinking about this for a while. Just wanted to post up a couple of rules there should be just incase this did take off.
Basically everymonth 8thcivic should have a raffle off, lets say the first of everymonth. So within before the first of everymonth anyone who chooses can paypal 8thcivic the specific amount for that month, not mattering if theyre VIP or not, since some people just DONT want to become VIP. Only the poeple who pay the monthly raffle amount will be elegible to win the jackpot. About the pricing it should probably start off at 5$ just so we can get the ball rolling and maybe the first month someone will win enough to get a short shifter. Also thats the whole catch, the cash prize must be used for your car, and for your car only since this is a car community. Also picture posts of the winners item would be great especially installed. So imagine in a couple of months maybe people will become really into this and hopefully itll go up to 15-20 bucks. Then well be able to make enough money for intakes and catbacks. I know i would contribute into this if theres a chance I can get an intake for 20bucks. Plus even If i didnt win Id know at least someone else got it towards their car and id try again next time trying to win. Webby can maybe help make a spot on the website to go to, for the raffle offs everymonth and accept paypal, (in this case hell help be the treasurer) and he can help order the part from his home to the winners address. How about it guys? Any takers?

You have my vote

Well again its going to be different everytime depending on how much we save up for the raffle off. Might be a shortshifter or greddy catback. Who knows. Anyone else?

See, searching does help.
Anyway, this needs to happen on 8thcivic. It should be a well known and respected member of 8thcivic who could do this. There could even be regional raffles so that the drawing of the winner event could be held at someone's place. This works great on the myspecv forums. Here, observe:
My SpecV - Your Ultimate Nissan SE-R Spec V Resource / Info

Previous to this raffle, they raffled off a Nismo suspension, an Injen Cold Air Intake, Ksport coilovers, and even a treadstone turbo kit!!! So who wants to take the bite?

I'd be up for this.

Maybe it would also be nice idea if some sponsors could be found to donate a prize (ie a part or a cash voucher to use at their online store) and the money could go to the winners charity of choice.

id rather wait for the 8thcivic 12 days of christmas. Its more suspensuful

not knocking the idea... but...dont think it will happen. Plus ppl will most likey take the money if they win and call it a day. Highly doubt ppl will ALWAYS use it for car parts. Not with the way the economy is. To many bills these days

i'll host it when do we start... i can make a thread post up the paypall adress, every one pitch in $2, i post up your name once paid. and at the end of the month a winner will be chosen via a randome number generator...? how dose that sound???

or each person can pick a 8 digit number and every two weeks a number will be chosen randomly(we all know how randome number generators work right...) and the person that gets it, wins... No limit will be given to the ammount of entries $2 a entry... untill the number is chosen. should it go on till chistmass then the money will be simply raffaled off via a big hat... the winner will be paypalled the pot!
