Color and model of your car in your screen name.

Don't do it! I've noticed a trend that those folks that put the color or model of their cars as their screen names end up cursed or with other vehicles. Example= CivicWithNav, now has an SI without nav. Black Civic Si, now has a GG. Fijisi06 has a white Si. How many EXs and Sis have the opposite model on here? A lot. Just a thought. Discuss.

i created my account back when i picked up my EX in march, and now i drive a SI. but i still have the ex so no need to change

like she said - it's a curse waiting to happen. The number of - "can you change my user name - I don't have that color or whatever" emails have gone down a bit lately though. About a year ago a lot of people wanted to change.

I believe that a username describing your car's trim and colour is not only memorable, but unique.

It is way too confusing when people base their name on their car model. Too many similar names. Plus it is hard to remember who they are. With a traditional name you can remember who someone is fairly easily. There is a reason people aren't named with a string of letters and numbers.

Leave that to R2D2 and C3P0.

I agree with Atruhondagrl, it's almost like tempting fate.

Since most of us on here are car enthusiasts somewhat then even if we aren't cursed or have bad luck we're bound to get a new car sooner or later.

I think I'll be changing my name, post count/join date mean little to me anyway.

BTW: Going from an '06 RR to an '07 ASM

Well my name implies that i have an si in anticipation that i will have an si...i have a 7th gen civic but just not an Si...yet...I'm just saving money now for a downpayment on a house so I won't be getting a new car before that...although i can easily afford an si, i just don't have a place to park other than the streets of paterson so i'll wait till i get the house first...house>car

Ha! I'm sitting here plotting out how to get an sti instead of an si and my name is firmhonda. That had not dawned on me yet. Hey, Dawn dawned something on me.

It's kind of like getting your significant others name tattood(sp?) on you. Never thought about it. carazy.
That's why instead of getting my girls initials done on my arm, I'm just going to have it say "I love me." If I break up with me I'm in a world of trouble.
