Locked threads and deleted threads?

I'd like to know why we have some threads get locked, and why others are mysteriously permanently deleted? Is there a criteria for which get locked and which deleted?

No there is no set guideline from closing threads to deleting them. Obviously if it is porn or another form of spam it will get deleted.

I heard of people getting banned for some unfair reasons... I think someone should be given plenty of warning before completely banning them from the forum. I mean thats just plain mean, this is be best civic forum around, i can't picture myself without it.

the only people who may not get a warning before they get banned is when they reply to a mods pm like this: (and i wish i was kidding)

if you reply to a pm from a mod like that, chances are you will be banned

and yes ive gotten replies like that and worse

other than that everyone who has been banned has been warned several times that they may be banned if they keep up whatever they are doing

As I've said before, we don't ban members, they ban themselves.

Was just readin the Yahoo! news story about some kid in the movie, never seen it. Most of the people on my MySpace I actually know. I dont just add random people except people from here. Been on around 5 years and only 87 friends.
