Why can't NC be in the South region?

Charlotte, the largest city in NC, is right on the border with SC, which is in the South region. The Charlotte area includes part of SC so any Charlotte area meets will be divided between two regions.

For the Dragon meet, I had to choose which region to put the thread in because it is right on the border of NC and TN. We stayed in NC but the Dragon is right across the border in TN. The South forum gets more views, so I put it there.

I'm a Southerner not a Mid-Atlantican! I've got a Southern accent. I love to say "y'all". It's so much better than "yous" and "you guys". I drink sweet iced tea not that unsweetened or hot crap they drink elsewhere. I eat livermush for breakfast on rare occasions. I call a shopping cart a "buggy".

Put NC where it belongs...in the South!!!:)

Even if I do say "y'all" more often I'm partial to "yous" and "you guys" because while "yous" does annoy the living daylights out of me, it's a sign that the person is from the North East! Where I was born and raised darn it. So

. Hot tea is a legacy left over from the British. New England? Yeah, thats in the north. Hot tea is refined.

Livermush? ICKICK BLAH! It sounds gross. Scrapple FTW!!!

Anyway, yeah, he has an accent. A THICK one too.

I agree. North Carolina is definitely the south.

NC is the trade central if i remember.. here wheret he north and south meets.. so its in mid-east..hehehe... middile is the best part of the country..

Kannapolis has about 38,000 people. I don't know any Harlows.

I have to say that Charlotte should be the capital of NC. Not because I'm 50 miles away but just about every time someone says something bout NC, the QC (Queen City if you didn't know what that meant) would be the first city that comes out of people's mouth. Plus, I love being there all the time.
