I have a concern about avatars

There are more than a few people on here with buttts on their avatars. Are they their own asses? Not only is it kinda disturbing, but I even had to adblock someone's avatar because it kept flashing and moving around and I was starting to feel uncomfortable watching a moving man-ass. Is there some butt-avatar trend that I don't know about?
