Avatar Help!

Can anybody think of a reason why I can't change my avatar? I picked one when I was a non VIP member but I wish to change it. Went to the User CP and tried various things. Uploading from my computer, picking a URL but nothing works. Unable to save is usually the error I receive. Thought it was because I check this forum from work and home (double log on) so I logged off at home and deleted all associated cookies to this site. Cleared the cookies here at work and relogged on. Tried to change the avatar and no go! It's not too big in dimension or file size. I anted up for the VIP ride and I can't even change the friggin' avatar. Not earth shattering event by any means but frustrating.

Any ideas from anyone would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
