I started thinking about this more. To get subscribed threads, it would have to pull a cookie to see who you are on the site to the reader. It just wouldn't work. You can get only certain forums if you like. Like, say you only wanted to see posts from the garage forum - you could do that.
http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/exter...rss&forumids=4 Or any other specific forum - not just "new post feeds". All you have to do for getting a specific forum is replacing the last # with the forum number. Another example- If you click on the "introduction forum - the url is below. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2 this is the format for a specific forum http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/exter...=rss&forumids= All you have to do is enter a "2" at the end of that to make it display the introduction area. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/exter...rss&forumids=2 race related would be a 20, civic si would be 48 and so on. Let me know if someone wants me to explain this more or get you a link for a specific forum. |

I'm no vBulletin guru, but I would think that if you could pull a forum into an RSS feed, you could do that for a specific thread. I'm not talking about subscribed threads, but any thread.
I would think that the link would look something like "http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/external.php?type=rss&threadids=" where the thread id is the thread number. |
