I want to post in the do it yourself section, but can't

I'm a new member. I want to post a question in the do it yourself section but the system won't allow me to. So what can I do? I think if I post it somewhere else it will be out of category...

Post your DIY first in the appropriate (non-DIY) section. A moderator will move it to the DIY section for you afterwards (if deemed worthy).
