it took me like 15min to get the camara right to get the color to show.. so i said screw it and just took it in black and white and it turned out the best.

^^ thanks the are taken with a cheep kodak easyshare v570, its only a 5mp and i dont have a tripod to put the camara on.. i'm super new to photoshooting

no worries, this is how you learn. Not sure your camera has this feature, but to have streetlights not be so yellow, you need to set the whitebalance.

it has a white ballance option, i just don't know how to use the camara just yet.. it took me like 30min to figure out how to put it on night shot.

Nice. now you have a real reason to learn your camera. With the white balance and tripod, you won't need the night setting.

First thing you need to do is get a tripod. It also is ideal for capturing shots for later stitching into a panoramic photo. I'm surprised the huge NY meet didn't do that one, well none that are posted yet.
