if you have photoshop - you can take that step and make the fade how you'd like it to be placed and such.

Then just save the file as a jpg image and add it to this ongoing thread. Not only will this help save a lot of time for me, it'll also allow you to compose the image for the banner. Sometimes easier said than done.

I appreciate all of your help and understanding here.

Again - I'd love to still see great images put up here full scale if you have them. Just realize that they also need to be resized if you want them in the header for the site. Editing hundreds of images each update takes countless hours.

lol, its all good, but i like the way the nikons feel. i myslef have a d40x. my warranty is out in about 5 months or something. so i think imma run over it in my car. and since its discontinued i might get the D60 as a replacement..hmm
