2013 Honda Civic Styling Tweaked for More Mass Appeal

Quote:
Love it or hate it, the Civic is a force to be reckoned with. Sales increased this year even after the collective body of automotive journalists ridiculed Honda’s 2012 effort. In spite of that, the brand tweaked its popular little car to give it broader appeal. What, exactly, that project meant was a mystery until today when the brand released images of the 2013 car.

Actually pretty nice. Through tons of car shopping with my gf looking at the 12s I've come around on them a little, but this is a nice step up.

Looks great, I really like the rims too. Definitely looking forward for more details to hopefully be released at the LA auto show.

i still dont like it all- the wheels look like there off a hyundai or kia, too much chrome and yea it looks like a mini accord. Better than the 2012 but side by side the 8th gen- its not even a competition.

8ths were pretty hideous too, but at least they had great drivetrains.

And that. Was talking to my mom about it earlier about how it looked like a camry when its moving. Only when its moving.
The styling is better, but... meh.
Lets see the interior. I liked the "other word for flightdeck (fail 8th filter. its a genuine word )" idea they had, but I'm still kind of used to a normal dash.
Any idea when they'll be on the lots? I'd probably guess late Dec.

I still like the look of the 9th gen four door in Taffy. However, the 9th gen coupe is non appealing to me. But with the refresh, all the chrome is a big no no for me. Especially on the front bumper: It's just something else to get carbon fiber wrapped or plasti-dipped. The tail lights look like their flip flopped off of the camry-yuck. The wheels look like they belong to a Kia as aforementioned. This is just the Civic, lets hope the Si turns out better. Especially in the coupe.
