8thcivic moderator application sheet

Just like the title says. We've had some people asking how to become a moderator on the site, so we've created this sheet here.

Anyone who'd like to be considered to be a moderator can fill this form out completely and send it to the email listed on the sheet. Just a little note - be as honest as possible. It saves us time in reviewing the info. Remember, we can get most of the answers to your questions by reviewing your acct information.

I looked at the application for fun. Honestly don't think I'll ever apply for it.. obviously because there are a lot more informed and knowledgeable and approachable people on this site than me. But what exactly is the point of all the questions except the last question. By the time the application is reviewed.. none of that information will be accurate.. except name and join date...

Just curious anyways.

it'll still be able to be viewed for a reference of how new/old to the site you are.

If we told you exactly what we were looking for, everyone would just wordsmith their applications to tell us what we want to hear, which is not necessarily an accurate description or proper depiction of who you actually are.

It really doesn't matter if you're a post whore or not or even if you have the time to do this or not. If you feel like you are able to contribute to 8thCivic in more ways than just to post here, why not submit an application?

Well, I want to be a mod becauseeee I loveeeeee my car and even though I get busy I still live on 8th every minute I'm on the computer lol I even figured out I can go on it at work now lol But, I know they are looking for people that know tons about Hondas and I'm just now getting into Hondas so I'm not the most knowledgeable

yes you can see vip - because mods have to sift through posts in there as well.

also - you can be picked to be a mod for certain areas - reasons. It might not have anything to do with how much knowledge you have about hondas.

Just make sure that the sections do not list the moderators for it.. it may be helpful.. but I think a post is more helpful.. I just see it as annoying when you see:

just my opinion :].. I know its not like that.. but I like a cleaner look..
Descriptions are a must though.. people post in the wrong section enough as it is
