I don't think Mike (special ringpop)was trying to start anything. And he is right. When you represent a community to have to choose your words carefully. Mods are humans just like everyone else so we do make mistakes. But for the most part we also use alot of discretion when responding to people no matter how badly they treat us. Its not like I can go tell someone to screw off just because I don't like them.

Certain mods are assholes as well. Take me for example. I'm nice on the surface, but I'm an asshole to marc-o-lishuz. And he takes my asshole comments towards him in stride, not because he likes it; he takes it because I make him like it. lol

All the mods have differing opinions and views. We're not selected as mods because we're indifferent robots, nor are we selected because we all think like Webby thinks. We all are able to express our own opinions and views, but I do agree that when you become a mod, you definitely think twice about what you're about to type out. I know I have written up many posts but never published them just because I thought twice about them and figured they were borderline inappropriate.

I couldn't agree more! Mods simply have to use better judgment than one would if they were a "regular" member...

Mods simply have to watch what they write. Sure, there are situations or members which we would love flame, but we simply don't (at least in 99% of cases). Responsibility comes with greater power.
