It doesnt SEEM like too much work, but untill you actually see what goes on behind the scenes no one really knows just how much really gets done by the staff. Im still adjusting to just how much there is.

I'm not saying it's not alot of work, and that its easy. I'm just saying it's like any other job, when you do what you love, and love what you do, workload is no object.

Just keep in mind, you may not be the most liked member around after becoming a moderator. It's hard to please people when we just closed their thread or warned them for something.

The main thing that gets to me is if somethings closed/edited/deleted/moved without explination. That really bothers me. That's why lately whenever I do make threads I ask to please be notified if it is closed/edited/deleted/moved for any reason.

I think if you need to preface a thread by asking to be notified if it is deleted, said posts contents need to be rethought.

Who are you to decide who is or isn't an idiot though? That's the difference between a moderator and a regular user: a regular user gets more leeway in being an asshole (typically), whereas a mod needs to have more discretion.

I think when you become a mod, you have to give up a lot of overt opinions and attitudes, in an attempt to be fair and neutral.

Example of my posts is I was giving out RingTones that I edited on my own, but they said copywritten material is not to be shared. I put on the thread to be notified If anything happened to the thread. And I was, MODS have no problem doing it.

I'm an Asshole to idiots...me myself is enough to decide whos an idiot or not. Do not comment on me as i do not comment on you. I came in here making no personal attacks on anyone. No MOD nor ADMIN who has been posting on this all day took any of my posts in a negative way. You are simply trying to cause unnecessary drama on here.
