Doubt the Fit will come out as a whole, but you may see the Navi as an accessory. It'd be fairly wise for Honda to do, considering the only other vehicle that offers Navi in the Fit's market is the Dodge Caliber (through Mopar). The CR-V Sport is the CR-V Modulo in Japan so it's possible. The Element-D is a one-off built by Honda employees (like the HART Si), so while I don't think it will ever come out, if it does well in the Formula D events next year, it's very possible you could see some....well....elements....of that Element put into production. Like a RWD option. I'm curious to know what V6 they borrowed. I'm willing to bet it's a J-series, probably from the TL or TL-S.

Me too. But the navi placement sucks!

They should have it placed like the Jazz navi.

Dammma. Honda should let the employees build cars more often. Heck, maybe they should send the design team on an extended hiatus and let the associates do all the limted edition stuff.

I am a closet FIT fan. I like it.

I agree the navi bolt on looks atrocious though.

For the Fit, it looks like they just threw the navi there last minute, while keeping the stock stereo. If you look at the Jazz, the navi is where the stock radio is placed on the Fit, so Honda could probably make it look "better."

As for the concepts, I think they are all amazing. My girlfriend say the Fit concept and was like...Damn, I want that.

That's because they did. The Navi is a prototype portable, portable being the keyword .

That Navi placement on the fit is not too pretty. I like the Navi in the place of the radio. I think portable Navigation is nice and all, I just don't like the looks. Oh well just my opinion.

Not likely, but if it did happen I think a lot of people would be trading up.

The Honda Element-D ("D" for drifting) racecar shows what can happen when enthusiastic Honda associates raid the company parts bin. Built for the racing sport of drifting, the Honda Element-D racecar replaces the stock 4-cylinder/Real Time(TM) 4WD drivetrain with a custom-designed and longitudinally-mounted 3.2-liter Honda V6 and rear-wheel-drive. Producing 500-horsepower, the lightweight twin-turbocharged powerhouse is guaranteed to light up the rear tires and accelerate sideways at full opposite lock. Associates from Honda R&D Americas, Inc., in Ohio plan to campaign the Element-D in the 2007 Formula Drift Serie
