IDK, 30k for cosmetics, a tad better suspension, and a better exhaust? Sounds to me like a waste...for the "badge conscious"...Now if we were talkin a different engine with more hp...well, that would be a different story...

nothing is wrong with the price...
it's actually too cheap if u do the math according to current mugen prices. 2800 mugen rims 1200 mugen catback 3000 already over a stock Si sedan.... add Mugen front and rear bumpers, sides and the wing, the grill too... what's that? another 2000 maybe?? and u know mugen areo kits cost more than that. that's now 5000 over a stock Si sedan. 500 a year is a reason for them to tack on a markup of atleast 2000...stock Si coupes have that markup so they can even charge more than that... that's now 7000 over a stock Si sedan. that now brings ur total to about 29,000 easilly!!! and that's not including the suspension upgrades...which would take it over the top of 30,000. if it's under 30,000 it's worht it... yes mugen prices are ridiculous but it is what it is....so being that's what it is...the price is right if it's under 30,000....be in just a civic or not... if we haven't realized yet...the civic has moved up market...not reason enough to inflate the price...but it's no longer just a civic....

priced just under a Sti, or evo, yet with those you get a turbo sedean.
i'd say that of 500 i bet about 390 or so have deposits on them now lol. I still love my Si coupe, I might get the shift knob simply because it's Mugen Don't think the suspension would fit but i'd like that too. I've been hoping for years Honda could be like Toyota and Nissan and offer factory upgrades. Hope some stuff comes for the coupe. |
