I apologize, I have only born minimal witness to these debates.... at the same time, I can only think that a post of this nature would only spark the same debate. Unless, of course, we are all to assume that every member of this forum would be more inclined to direct their responses in a positive manner, else refrain from negative posts.... after all, if you can't say something nice.... you know the rest. But we all know that doesn't happen, right?

That would make me feel better.

I don't have a family and I'm considering it. It really is a pita to have people climb in and out the backseat of a coupe. I 100% love the coupe.. everything about it.. but I'm an on call designated driver and when drunk people get to climbing through your car it's no bueno.

Plus, I just like the way the sedan looks as an si.

In a perfect world brother... I would do anything to have everyone get along for just 1 week.
Then again.. it would be kind of creepy to see everyone walking around like that enzyte commercial (whatever the "make the wife happy" pill is called)

True. I have to admit, when I think "WRX" my mind immediately references the STi. I don't mean to discount the other models. There's a wrx wagon that I see several times a week near my place of employ. I have a hard time seeing this car as "sporty", most likely because it's not my car and I'm not completely imbibed it. To me, there are certain aesthetics that denote a "sporty" car. A coupe body style is one, a manual transmission is another, albeit a big one. That's not to say that a car isn't sporty if it doesn't apply these characteristics, this is just a matter of my own opinion.

Yes, in a perfect world. In the meantime, all we can ask is that we do our best to respect the opinions of others and hope that said opinions are well-informed and meant for the best.

I enjoy a good argument, as long as each side is respectful of the other. After all, I've learned plenty from those who form very different opinions from myself. Thanks! <insert creepy, chemically-enlarged-manhood-induced grin here>

Just my two cents.

We've been having this "I don't think the Si should be a sedan because it's not Honda's heritage" talk for a little while now. THAT is not malcontent. THAT is whining because people know not what they speak of. I'm open to both sides of the fence. But if someone is going to express their dislike in THIS particular thread, than express it as, "I genuinely don't like this car", not, "I don't like that my Si coupe isn't exclusive anymore" because that's all the arguement boils down to. But honestly, who cares? Call it one-sided, call it whatever you want. *shrug* I'm just sick of hearing the same arguement over and over. Honda did what they did and it's here now. I'd rather we all just left it at that and moved on to OTHER discussions and debates about the vehicle.

say the VSA switch is where it is for the sedan but what about the coupe?

are they going to move the mirror switches down on the door?

the i-VTEC sticker is wayy high...don't ya think? :)

Same engine. If anything, the Sedan will be slightly slower due to added weight. Don't feel bad...yet. Wait until the mid-life upgrade comes, then feel bad.

I like almost everything about it. It's nice and sporty looking...but still has the sedan-ness to it.

Complaints:
1. Headlights. They made the Si Coupe different from regular coupes. Don't see anything different about it at all on the Sedan.
2. VSA Switch. Not the complaint you might think. I like having the window controls somewhere they won't get touched accidentally. Plus, it looks utterly wierd not having the really sweet looking handlebars that are on the '06 cars. Just not aesthetically pleasing. Although, I do wonder what the third panel is for on the switch console for VSA/fogs. Simple Aux?
3. Door Open Indicator. Why still only show two doors?
4. Wheels. They are not on my car.
5. Spoiler. It better damn well fit on my car. That looks so amazingly clean on the sedan. It's not boisterous, but I think it'd suit the HFP kit for the coupe well. Again, if anyone wants my GG spoiler...they're more than welcome to have it for their GG spoiler!

From what I understand, everything is an exact carryover. So yes to the VSA switch. I agree with you about the I-VTEC sticker. And the new SI wheels (for the coupe too) come in what's call "sparkle silver" (essentially hyper silver) and can be seen on the RDX for further example. And the HFP wheels are now silver, instead of that bronzish gunmetal.

Wait a second, you work for Honda, ain't you s'posed to know this crap? lol

These cars have two different personalities. Their fronts aren't the same either. Neither are their windshields......

And I agree with you on the rear, but it's the spoiler that throws it off, at least in that particular picture. I'm sure it looks better in person, minus the DOHC sticker.

I like it. A nice addition to the family. My wife is thinking of buying a sedan. Now I have a reason to have two Si's! Just have to teach her stick. LOL.

I'm really surprised to see the "coupe" steering wheel. Everything else looks pretty much like I had thought. At least now there will be some newer parts for the sedan coming out.

I could care less about the sedan becoming an SI, personally I just don't like the sedans period. I think its too square/blocky as the coupe is more rounded. I also don't like the tail lights on the sedan.
