Is there a way to include a chat function?

Just throwing this out there, as it has worked exceedingly well on accesstuners.

Is there a way to incorporate a chat function on here? Seems a great way to meet people, and solve some common problems without the person making another useless thread.

Just an idea.

well, im only stealing the idea from Accesstuners.com, but they have a popup page that lets you see all members and chat with them. Its very useful, and just helps everyone get over problems a lot faster than posting and waiting for replies.

Just a thought mods.

If people only used it to get some direct inforamtion from somebody, then it would be a good idea. That way someone wouldn't have to make a new thread for every little problem or question that they have.

If people start using the chat the forum will go downhill. Who is going to post on a thread and wait for a response if they can just chat with a few people. That would suck because a lot of people have the same questions and/or learn something new from reading those kinds of threads
