not that stupid fast. The WRX tranny can't get over 350 hp/350 tq (reliably)

catless downpipe, exhaust, pro-tune.
CAI only gives 10 hp after tune and a whole lot of noise. (not for me)

(claims from conversation from EFI Logics tune shop in CT)

I will hopefully be rolling in a 2013 BRZ come dragon time, no more understeering pigs for me!

The 09+ WRX gearboxes can handle quite a bit but not as much as the STI 6spd, a nice stage 2 setup won't damage anything unless you clutch drop & powershift all the time.

Keith, you'll probably eventually need a better TMIC as well as the stock intercooler starts to separate after 18psi.

22K for the Scion FR-S, 25K for the BRZ premium.

I'm getting the BRZ premium because it has everything I need and nothing I don't, the BRZ limited has too much of stuff I don't need and the price is a bit steep.

I wonder if that's the legit STI model or just a normal BRZ with some STI accessories and some Brembos, there's really no info on it.

no pics yet. but its a step up in most areas and a step down in only handling feel so far. i havent autoxed it yet or really pushed it around corners being that i live the city. plus coming from star specs to conti extreme contacts which arent bad tires in their own right makes the car feel sloppy

there is a GTI that auto-x with me, he is constantly riding on 3 tires (pretty cool). I raced with Conti DWS for my last two events of 2011, definitely not the best tire for such purposes, but I did win one event (over 5 others) so I can't complain too much about it but got loose in most corners. Great tire for typical daily driving.

my best run on DWS:

electric slide run (slide to the left, slide to the right), I guess I was driving on the edge of the performance limit all day:

There's no such thing as a boring Si! Maybe a typical Si that's not unique from the others, like mine, but not boring.
