Second Weekend In September. Confirmed dates are Sept 6th to 9th, 2012
Just today I was thinking about the second weekend of September and how awesome the past few years have been. I'm thinking we need to start a 8CCD VII thread and start asking for time off, I am getting the itch.
oh i am for sure. ive been 3 years straight. im not going to miss it because of a silly ole gti. also with tax money being about 3 times more than i usually get this year. my ae86 has a chance of actually being driven this year.
j/k i had a mkv (07 with apr flash). if all goes well i will be rolling in a new 86. i liked the s2k STI and miata sti. the miata spinout was the most baller move of all though.
the BRZ will need some better rubber if I really wanna drive it hard, sometimes I wish I still had my RX8, I'd probably be quicker through the dragon with that, the WRX is quick, but still kicks and screams when I turn the wheel. Grip is one thing, but I can still feel the car fighting the whole way and wanting to plow forward, that's what happens when the entire engine is hanging waaaay over the front axle c/l.
i was going to badge the gti up like a civic si or type r this year but i might have to make it look like a wrx hatch if youre not going. Ungodly chariot part duex
so is the second weekend in September official...some of us including me will have trouble making it due to school, which would be a shame because I had so much fun last year
if the ae86 is up and ready i dont really want to drive it that far. its completely gutted. the suspension is frackin rock hard and its loud as hell. no ac no radio. no fun. its a track car with a license plate on the back
Same as my e30. The ride there wasn't too bad. The ride back sucked, but it was worth it to have it there.
